• The Diplomat to host all-you-drink American Pale Ale party on 20th September, featuring exclusive first taste of Smoke & Barrel

On 20th September, The Diplomat will host two sessions of a special free-flow pale ale party from 2pm-4pm and 4pm-6pm, each priced at HK$300 per ticket for an all-you-can-drink beer and all-you-can-eat BBQ; or VIP tickets priced at HK$800, from 2pm-6pm, inclusive of an additional champagne free-flow and wagyu brisket by Smoke & Barrel.

The event will celebrate the launch of Diplomat American Pale Ale, a special collaboration brew by Brooklyn Brewery and Carnegie Brewery, serving for the first time in Hong Kong at The Diplomat. With a lower ABV of 4.5%, the Diplomat American Pale Ale is a session IPA that blends three citrus forward hops with floral and herbal notes. The result is a refreshing beer that can be enjoyed as a complement to a meal or as a delicious thirst-quencher by itself.

Those in attendance will be the lucky first guests to tuck in to all-you-can-eat authentic American barbecue by the soon-to-open smokehouse, Smoke & Barrel Hong Kong. Slated to open this early October 2020 on 32 Wyndham Street, Smoke & Barrel is the brainchild of chef-restaurateur duo Chris Grare and Arron Rhodes, following hot on the trails of their first successful restaurant co-venture, Kinship.
