The Cakery’s First Range of CBD Products
The Cakery is proud to announce the launch of its latest CBD-infused cookies and energy bars. CBD, which stands for cannabidiol, is a non-addictive chemical compound found in the cannabis plant. It does not contain THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana or hemp that produces a high. Its use has been associated with a huge range of therapeutic benefits, from treating anxiety and depression, insomnia, pain and inflammation, and even in tackling acne.
New CBD pastries include Cocoa Munch (HK$55), a chewy vegan dark chocolate chip cookie with 40mg CBD isolate, and gluten-free and vegan Acai Energy Bar (HK$38) packed with superfoods and 40mg CBD isolate. The non-CBD energy bar option is the vegan Immunity Energy Bar (HK$28) made with gluten-free rolled oats and a blend of superfoods.
As an extra day-booster, guests can now choose to add CBD oil to their tea, coffee or cupcake to-go at an additional HK$20 per 40mg.
The Cakery’s Collection of Seasonal Pastries, Halloween Cookies & Thanksgiving Pies
The best thing about autumn is its desserts – and The Cakery has prepared a collection of new themed pastries and pies to celebrate the new season. The Cakery’s beloved vegan mille feuille comes in two new flavour varieties, including Poached Pear (H$65) with festive notes of cinnamon, cloves and spiced pear, and Mont Blanc (HK$65), the crowd-favourite chestnut puree topping with chestnut crème layers.
For Halloween this October, The Cakery has created a set of two spooky fondant 3D cookies. Designed for easy gifting, the Halloween Cookie Set (HK$198/two) is sure to be a hit with sweets-loving friends, family, colleagues, and of course the little ones.
The hallmark dessert of Autumn is no doubt the pie, and The Cakery introduces two new pies that are perfect for Thanksgiving celebrations at home. The home-style Apple Crumble (HK$360 with 7 inches diameter) is completely vegan, made with a sweet-and-tart combination of Granny Smith and gala apples, and the classic nutty Pecan Pie(HK$480 with 7 inches diameter) is keto-friendly whilst pared down on the intense traditional sweetness, using almond meal and coconut flour in the place of regular flour.
