• Sunday Dim Sum Affair by Chef ArChan Chan

    INTRODUCTION OF GOOD FORTUNE CLUB
Marked by boundary-breaking flavours and buzzing energy, Ho Lee Fook presents GOOD FORTUNE CLUB, a Sunday lunch experience shaped by a deep love and appreciation for Hong Kong’s legendary dim sum culture. This afternoon experience begins at HK$888+10% per guest for Lucky Eight, a never-ending dim sum experience inclusive of one bottle of Champagne per guest from a collection of eight distinctive Champagne vintages and producers.

Good Fortune Club’s menu reflects the dynamic energy of the restaurant, featuring creative takes on familiar dim sum staples as dreamt up by Chef ArChan and Chef Winson, serving as a love letter to her hometown. Fill up on har gow plump with prawns and baskets overflowing with fried turnip cakes, smashed cucumber, siu mai, and Ho Lee Fook’s iconic hand-chopped pork jowl and cabbage dumplings. Settled among plush velvet banquettes, glass of effervescent bubbly in hand, time slips by in the rosy glow of the restaurant’s ruby-red interiors, as guests are instantly transported to the glamour and elegance of old Hong Kong.

Traditional dim sum plates to kick-start the meal include Har Har Har Gow; Mushroom & Pork Siu Mai; Jade Green Vegetable & Mushroom Dumpling; Hand-Chopped Pork Jowl & Cabbage Dumpling with Sacha Soy Dressing; Prawn Toast x Okonomiyaki with Kewpie Mayonnaise, Bull-Dog Sauce, Shaved Cabbage, and Aonori; Fried Cheesy Taro Dumpling with Curried Wagyu Beef and Onion; Crispy Golden ‘Fun Gor’ Supreme Broth; Fried Turnip Cake with Ho Lee Fook XO Sauce; Pan-Fried Mapo Beef Bao; and Kurobuta Pork Char Siu Puff with Pineapple.

Uniquely Hong Kong snacks served in the afternoon include Shredded Mushroom Salad with Cold Noodles, Cucumber, Chilli Oil and Sesame Dressing; Salt & Pepper Squid, Smashed Cucumber & Radish with Garlic & Soy; Chongqing Chicken Wings with Heaven-Facing Chillies, Dried Chillies & Sichuan Pepper; and Salt & Pepper Tofu with crispy garlic.

Showcasing Chef ArChan’s affinity for the wok, Good Fortune Club brings to life a number of classic Cantonese dishes including Egg Fried Rice with Spring Onion; Stir-fried Broccoli with Garlic; Chef’s Seasonal Greens; and Prawn Roe Stirred Noodles with Crispy Scallop, Spring Onion and Shallot Oil. Staying true to the roast meat tradition of the original Ho Lee Fook, Good Fortune Club is proud to serve its signature honey-glazed & charcoal-grilled Kurobuta Pork Char Siu. For dessert, guests may indulge on Chef ArChan’s new Tofu Sorbet served with longan granita, dates, goji berries and white fungus amongst other signatures.

A swaggering, fancy and boisterous affair, Ho Lee Fook is an homage to the past, the present and the future, all at once, powered by an instinct for sheer entertainment and balanced by an extremely focused, finessed passion for the city’s homegrown cuisine. Guests who descend the narrow staircase are to abandon all expectations and instead prepare themselves for the kind of chaotic yet extraordinary ride that has come to define the Ho Lee Fook experience.
