• Roganic Hong Kong in Taipei: Taiwanese ingredients, modern British heart

One MICHELIN-starred and MICHELIN Green-starred Roganic Hong Kong, under the culinary direction of Head Chef Adam Catterall, is delighted to announce its first-ever residency event in Taipei, Taiwan. As the restaurant prepares for its relocation and subsequent reopening in Hong Kong this late November, the Taipei residency presents a unique opportunity to experience Chef Simon Rogan’s visionary approach with Taiwan’s natural bounty.

“This residency is an exciting new opportunity for the Roganic Hong Kong team, keeping us energized and inspired with fresh ideas. It provides a chance to explore, grow, and enrich our culinary repertoire in a new city, infusing the vibrancy of Taiwanese ingredients into our creations. This experience also serves as valuable preparation for our eagerly awaited return to Hong Kong in our new home later this year,” says Head Chef Adam Catterall.

From 3 October 2024 to 11 November 2024, guests in Taipei can experience the nearly month-long residency during select lunch and dinner hours at No.15 Lane 233, Section 1, Dunhua S Rd, Da’an District, Taipei City, Taiwan 106. Lunch service will be available on Fridays to Sundays, while dinner service will be offered from Thursdays to Mondays.

Chef Simon Rogan’s philosophy, as embodied by Roganic Hong Kong, is a testament to his unwavering dedication to respecting the natural environment and elevating the essence of ingredients to their purest form. The residency in Taipei serves as a prime opportunity to showcase this philosophy by integrating Taiwan’s incredibly diverse selection of produce with Roganic’s modern British heart.

“This extended residency opportunity allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the Taiwanese landscape and introduce our distinct culinary vision to a new audience. By blending Taiwanese freshness with our progressive approach, we remain committed to showcasing locally sourced produce as the star of our dishes,” expresses Chef Simon Rogan. “Adhering to the same farm-to-fork philosophy, we strive for consistency in delivering truly remarkable dining experiences.”
