Bar Leone, fresh off being crowned number one at Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, and neo-Neapolitan pizzeria FALCONE, chasing the unforgettable energy of Napoli, are thrilled to announce a one-night-only spettacolo, “ROMA vs NAPOLI” taking place on 8th September from 4pm – late at Bar Leone in SoHo. This collaboration will see FALCONE taking over the Bar Leone kitchen, offering guests a taste of Italian chaos and beauty on Bridges Street.
From 4pm until late, Bar Leone will transform into a hub of Italian flavour and flair, as guests can indulge in Chef Josh Stumbaugh’s signature FALCONE antipasti and pastas (total of 5 items), including Carciofi e Stracciatella (HK$120), Frittatina di Pasta (HK$98), Rigatoni alla Genovese (HK$150), Penne al Pomodoro (HK$110) and Spaghetti alla Maradona (HK$110) — the last being an homage to a personal favourite of the Napoli football legend, Diego Maradona – plus a special dolce created by Bar Leone, Leone Tiramisu (HK$90) just for this evening. Behind the bar, Bar Leone founder and cocktail maestro Lorenzo Antinori will be mixing and pouring a special selection of cocktails to toast this grand occasion, blending the best of Roman and Neapolitan flavours.
The delights do not stop at food and cocktails: DJ Neeno will be spinning tunes throughout the night, creating the right ambiance for an Italian evening, while those feeling playful can throw down over a game of Biliardino Balilla (foosball), adding an extra touch of competitive fun to the festivities. Also, branded merchandise for this FALCONE and Bar Leone collaboration will be available for purchase while supplies last — the perfect souvenir to commemorate the occasion.
Exclusive merch, drinks and pasta are limited, so guests should come hungry, come thirsty and leave happy. Happening on 8 September from 4pm, walk-in only.
