• Ming Pavilion welcomes Singapore’s legendary Hokkiden restaurant Beng Hiang for a six-day 2nd anniversary pop-up, celebrating shared roots and the enduring soul of Hokkien cuisine

Ming Pavilion at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong celebrates its second anniversary with a meaningful culinary collaboration, welcoming Singapore’s iconic Hokkien restaurant Beng Hiang for an exclusive six-day lunch and dinner pop-up from 25 February to 2 March. The partnership pays tribute to Ming Pavilion’s roots, as Beng Hiang served as the original inspiration behind the restaurant’s opening two years ago.

Founded in 1978, Beng Hiang is revered as one of Singapore’s most authentic Hokkien institutions, celebrated for preserving traditional recipes and beloved classics such as Fish Maw and Crab Meat Soup and Traditional Hokkien Noodles.

The anniversary pop-up features a four-hands collaboration menu blending Beng Hiang’s time-honoured Hokkien dishes with Ming Pavilion’s refined Fujian touch. Highlights include a shared appetiser platter, Fish Maw and Crab Meat Thick Soup, Steamed Red Tilefish, Crispy Pork Rib with Mint, Braised Chicken with Sea Cucumber and Pork Tendon in Claypot, Beng Hiang’s signature Hokkien Noodles, and nostalgic desserts. Lunch is priced at HK$688 +10% per guest and dinner at HK$988 +10%, with optional wine and Chinese tea pairings available. The limited-time pop-up is available daily for both lunch and dinner from 25 February to 2 March.
