• From 25th – 30th September, celebrate National Dumpling Week with BaseHall 02

    BaseHall 02, the eclectic sister venue of the original BaseHall, brings together some of the city’s top culinary talents under one roof. From 25th until 30th September, BaseHall 02 is thrilled to announce the launch of its first National Dumpling Week campaign, featuring exclusive dumpling menus by vendors such as MICHELIN recommended Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings and Hot & Meen by Chili Fagara. Adding to the excitement, A Freaking Dumpling will have a pop-up stall at BaseHall 02, where all proceeds from their dumpling sales will be donated to Feeding Hong Kong, their partnered non-profit organization.

    Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings, a beloved Lai Chi Kok dumpling joint cherished for its age-old family recipes and masterful handmade dumplings, will be introducing a brand-new BaseHall 02 exclusive dumpling menu featuring 5 new items . Priced at HK$55 for seven pieces, this menu will feature delectable creations such as *ink sauce and cuttlefish dumplings, *beetroot sauce with mushroom, fungus, and vegetable dumplings, *pumpkin sauce with shepherd’s purse and pork dumplings, *spinach sauce with chives and pork dumplings and *spinach sauce with scallion and lamb dumplings.

     Hot & Meen, founded by the creators of MICHELIN recommended Chilli Fagara, will offer a fiery and tantalizing exploration of Sichuan cuisine with their exclusive dumpling menu (a total of 5 new Chao Shous) for National Dumpling Week. Hot & Meen specializes in the traditional Sichuan-style chao shou dumplings, served in various sauces and guaranteed to delight all the senses. Guests can relish in newly created delights such as *pork and vegetable dumplings, *wagyu and Vietnamese dumplings, a new *vegetarian chao shou, *chicken chao shouand *lamb and fennel chao shou.

     In addition to the exciting offerings from Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings and Hot & Meen,

    BaseHall 02 is hosting a special pop-up by A Freaking Dumpling, a unique ceramic project founded by Kingsley Wong. A Freaking Dumpling aims to make a difference by donating six real edible dumplings to the needy for every shiny white dumpling-shaped chopstick holder purchased. Partnering with the non-profit organization Feeding Hong Kong, A Freaking Dumpling will have a dedicated stall at BaseHall 02 during the campaign period. All proceeds from sales of their edible dumplings, priced at HK$278 for a steamer set of 2 and HK$818 for a steamer set of 6, will go towards supporting Feeding Hong Kong’s charitable initiatives.

    Visitors will have the opportunity to indulge in these special dumpling menus and support Feeding Hong Kong from September 25th to September 30th at BaseHall 02, located at LG/F of Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central.
