New Pescatarian Tasting Menu Experience at Osteria Marzia
The new six-course tasting menu immerses guests into the slow, sun-drenched, and utterly delicious way of Italian coastal living. For HK$788 per person, experience the finest ocean-inspired fare by Chef Luca – reminiscent of diving into the crystal-clear depths of the Adriatic Sea or frolicking on the white powder-sand beaches of Sardinia.
The menu begins with traditional aperitivos with bread and anchovies, jet-fresh Hamachi, with tomato date, Taggiasca olive, and fried capers, and Tartare de Cappesante with scallop asparagus, chives, wild fennel, chervil and Sorrento lemon. The homemade Spaghetti features a refreshing combination of Bronte pistachio and Sicilian anchovy, followed by Cernia grouper fish prepared and flavoured simply with potato, Taggiasca olive, oregano, and sun-dried tomato. Finish the meal with Sorbetto, a Sorrento lemon sorbet, and the obligatory finale of Baba Al Rum with limoncello Chantilly.
New Seasonal Dish Specials
Standout dishes of the season include the incredibly fresh and light Tartare de Cappesante ($268), a dish of scallop, asparagus, chives, wild fennel, chervil and Sorrento lemon. The delicate Polpo (HK$248) with octopus, zucchini cream, octopus reduction, and sweet pecorino, and Dentice (HK$368) with red snapper, snow peas, asparagus, Ratte potato, and fennel are sure to delight. Finally, the Paccheri (HK$238), a type of pasta originating from Campania, is served with smoked butter, Cantabrian anchovy and sweet garlic.
New Tris di Dolci Afternoon Tea Sessions
Osteria Marzia’s own spin on the much-loved afternoon tea-time tradition, Tris di Dolci offers guests the chance to bask in a selection of classic Southern Italian desserts paired with a refreshing sparkling cocktail.
For HK$298 per person, choose three sweets from a selection of: Sfogliatella Riccia, a flaky southern treat filled with a sweet ricotta mixture and flavoured with citrus, Cannoli Siciliani with ricotta, chocolate chips, cinnamon and candied orange, Freshly Churned Gelato, Pastiera Napoletana, a Neopolitan-style short-crust tart with ricotta and orange blossom, and Baba Al Rum, a boozy yeast cake soaked with rum and finished with limoncello Chantilly. The set comes with a bubbling glass of Bellini, the charming Italian cocktail comprising of white peach and Prosecco.
