The Cuisine at Shanghai Plus: Reimagining Shanghai’s Rich Heritage with Hong Kong Flair
Shanghai Plus introduces an innovative blend of Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine by Chef Edmond, offering a diverse menu of 77 dishes including dim sum, handmade noodles, and signature creations. Standout dishes include the Shanghai Fried Pork Ribswith a Cantonese twist, marinated in a unique blend of Italian balsamic vinegar and Okinawan black sugar, topped with aged tangerine peel. The Braised Fish Maw Clay Pot presents premium fish maw in a hot pot, while the Double Boiled Silken Tofu Flower showcases delicate tofu strands in chicken broth with matsutake mushrooms in a whole coconut. Lastly, the Crispy Pigeon features meticulously prepared pigeon cooked to tender perfection with a crisp, golden-brown skin. Shanghai Plus boasts an impressive beverage program, featuring renowned Chinese spirits such as Kweichow Moutai; Guyue Longshan 40 years; Sichuan Wuliangye; 1573 National Cellar; 1988 Xijiu JiaoCang; and Kuaijishan Shaoxing Chiew, aged for 30 years.
Shanghai Plus will offer daily lunch sets, priced at HK$638+10% for 2 guests and HK$1,238+10% for 4 guests, as well as daily dinner sets starting at HK$998+10% for 2 guests and HK$1,988+10% for 4 guests.

Shanghai Plus blends Cantonese and Shanghai culinary traditions seamlessly into its design concept, drawing inspiration from Shanghai’s haipai heritage where East meets West. With a spacious 8,000 sq. ft. venue capable of hosting up to 150 guests and featuring four private dining rooms, including three that can be combined for larger gatherings of up to 48 guests, Shanghai Plus is an ideal setting for a variety of events, from corporate lunches to intimate dinners, offering a fresh perspective on traditional elements tailored to the diverse community of Wan Chai.
