• A joint venture by chef friends, Agustin Ferrando Balbi and Ricardo Chaneton

The first co-venture by Michelin-awarded chefs and long-time friends Agustin Ferrando Balbi (Andō) and Ricardo Chaneton (MONO), ROSITA is the latest semi-fine dining restaurant set to open its doors on Ship Street in Wan Chai this mid-December. For the first time, ROSITA will bring to Hong Kong a fresh take on “new” Latin American cuisine with influences from Japan and France. Helming the kitchen will be Head Chef Marco A. Livoti, previously the chef at Sake Central and mastermind of cult-brand Holy Cannoli.

With the aim of delivering a true Latin American experience, chefs Ricardo, Agustin, and Marco set out to create a concept that evokes the cozy feeling of sitting at the dinner table at home. The restaurant is designed like the extension of a living room, combining familial comforts with refined, New Latin flavours. The open plan kitchen provides a further feeling of intimacy, removing the barrier between cooking and social areas. Meaning “Little Flower” in Spanish that is in reference to the flower depicted on Hong Kong’s flag, ROSITA seeks to encapsulate a sense of home in the heart of the bustling city.

ROSITA’s menu showcases a wide spectrum of the Latin American experience, elevated with Japanese sensibilities from chef Agustin and classical French flair provided by chef Ricardo. ROSITA will soft open for dinner daily starting this mid December, serving a single six-course tasting menupriced at HK$988+10% per guest.

Note to Editor: More details on the launch of ROSITA’s lunch offering will be shared at a later date.
