KRUG 2008 x MANVSMACHINE MUSICAL COLLABORATION
Staying true to its commitment to support local talents, the House of Krug will kick off a musical pairing collaboration with fellow Krug Lovers and Hong Kong-born artist ManvsMachine starting from the end of October.
ManvsMachine (MVM) is an experimental electronic jazz trio formed in 2019. Their members are producer and sound designer Hirsk (@hirsk_), drummer Blue Kwok (@drmrblue) and pianist Daniel Chu (@thedanielchu). While members of MVM are eloquent in the language of classical and jazz, and take part in the production of pop music, they also have a taste for experimental avant-garde sounds and are keen to break boundaries between genres.
Believing that music has the power to enhance the sensorial experience of every sip of a glass of Krug Vintage, the House of Krug has appointed the unique and unconventional work of ManvsMachine to balance the elegant and powerful expression of Krug 2008.
For this collaboration, the unique Krug journey experienced by guests will be based on the concept of “what takes place backstage, prepares for the experience onstage”. The journey begins with an off-stage experience, where guests get the exclusive chance to view Manvsmachine’s craftsmanship live from House of Krug. Guests are then guided on-stage to experience Manvsmachine’s enchanting musical interpretations of the two Champagne creations, Krug 2008 and Krug Grande Cuvée 169ème Édition. This is followed by a phenomenal food experience, featuring a menu that is curated and served by a Hong Kong Krug Ambassade Chef.
