• TATE Dining Room unveils Autumn Home Dining Menu & New Gourmet Products

    This season, Date by TATE introduces the sumptuous flavors of autumn with a new Gastronomy Box designed for five persons or more. The Autumn Gastronomic Affair is priced at HK$1,180 per guest, with choices of new add-on wine packages including Classique Wine Package (HK$680) and Connoisseur Wine Package (HK$1,200) curated with the finest French wine pairings in mind by Head Sommelier Francois Ferrand.

    Embark on an innovative French Chinese culinary journey shared and celebrated with loved ones in the comforts of your home. Guests may rest assured that all Date by TATE menu items are prepared in Tate Dining Room’s professional kitchen with the strictest standards of safety, sanitation, and health. Dishes are delivered ready-to-eat with minimal to no preparation required and placed in reusable or biodegradable packaging. As much as possible, ingredients are sourced locally and seasonally, and always cooked with home in mind.

     

    With a minimum requirement of 5 box sets per order, each 3-tiered Gastronomy Box includes the signature Bread Basket and a 3-course dinner menu for one. New seasonal appetizers include the Autumn Vegetable Tian with a harmony of veggies, tomato confit and hard tofu, Drunken Poultry Roulade with aubergine caviar and celtuce salad, Foie Grass Terrine with Jerusalem artichoke cream and peanut, and umami-rich Abalone Rice with chicken and seaweed. Tier 2 will feature the main course of choice, either a Mayura Beef Tenderloin en Brioche with grilled green asparagus and Sichuan beef jus, or Blue Lobster Thermidor with Shaoxing wine and stuffed fruit tomato. The final tier uncovers a melody of sweets, including the Chestnut Tiramisu dessert with chocolate biscuit, chestnut cream, and milk chocolate, and a selection of mignardises to finish.

    The Autumn Gastronomic Affair package also includes a house selection of 2 types of French cheeses, a pre-created martini cocktail with 1 copper-plated etched martini glass, a set of 6 brushed brass cutlery in leather casing, personalized welcome note, heating instructions, and menu. Guests may choose to add on either Acqua Panna still water or San Pellegrino sparkling water (HK$68 per bottle) and choose a main course before check-out.

    New Gourmet Products, Specialty Packages and Home Goods on Date by TATE

    Specialty goods include Caviar (HK$980 for 50g) of the Osseta variety from Kaviari that was prepared exclusively for TATE Dining Room. The caviar is sustainably farmed and exhibits a subtle aroma of the sea with a long and delicate hazelnut flavor. For the discerning connoisseur, Caviar Set Package (HK$1,300) includes 50g of Ossetra caviar, 8 pieces of homemade crispy tartlet, and classic condiments of sour cream, chives, egg white, egg yolk, potato cubes, and white onion.

    Cheese lovers will delight in the Cheese Box (HK$120) featuring an ode to cheeses with Chinese condiments, including 24-months-aged comte with wild kumquat, gorgonzola with seaweed, and tome de la patte d’ours with pickled young ginger.

    Celebratory feasts will be complete with the Celebration Cake Shan Shui (HK$380-HK$780) with earl grey mousse and sponge, Osmanthus goji berry jelly, rice crunch, tea sable, and white glaze. Another delectable cake on offer includes Ode to Ginkgo (HK$420 for 290g, HK$820 for 650g) with Valrhona dark chocolate mousse, red date paste, Chinese almond chocolate sponge, praline crunch and chocolate glaze.
