BaseHall 02 at Jardine House welcomes four new concepts this August, spanning Chiu Chow and Shanghainese comfort food to Japanese curry and Hong Kong dai pai dong favourites. Moon Lok Chao Shan and Ying Hung Palace by Heroes Beer Co join as physical counters, while Mee Mee Shanghai and Kuro Kare are available for takeaway and delivery from BaseHall 02’s ghost kitchen.
Moon Lok Chao Shan, the younger sister brand of Pak Loh Chiu Chow, draws on more than 60 years of culinary heritage with its treasured master stock. Highlights include Soyed Delicacies with Rice (HK$78–118) featuring choices such as goose, beef shank and pork belly, alongside Chiu Chow congee and noodles. From 4pm, a sharing menu of larger soyed specialities is also available.
Mee Mee Shanghai offers a contemporary take on nostalgic Shanghainese flavours, with Chives & Pork Wontons (HK$60), Deep-Fried Pork Cutlet Dan Dan Noodles (HK$80) and Shanghainese Black Vinegar Sweet & Sour Pork Rice (HK$80) among the highlights.
From the team behind SEVENS, Kuro Kare specialises in Japanese comfort food built around its signature black-gold curry, made with flame-roasted spices, fruits and vegetables and a 10-hour bone broth. Signatures include KURO Trinity Meat Curry (HK$138) and KURO Slow-Braised Beef Curry (HK$98), alongside creamy udon and kamameshi.
Completing the line-up, Ying Hung Palace by Heroes Beer Co brings the energy of a Hong Kong dai pai dong to Central with dishes including Fried Chicken Wing with Sichuan Chilli (HK$98) and Black Pepper Beef Finger Rib & Potato (HK$128), paired with the new EXO Lager and draft cocktails.
With two new counters and two delivery-led concepts joining its existing roster, BaseHall 02 continues to bring together a broad mix of Hong Kong-grown brands and new ideas under one roof, championing the food and people that make one of the world’s greatest cities so unique.
