• Torikaze Hong Kong Debuts at Forty-Five, LANDMARK

This mid October, Torikaze Hong Kong opens at Forty-Five, LANDMARK, bringing the spirit of Tokyo yakitori to Central. The restaurant marks the Hong Kong debut of Chef Yoshiteru Ikegawa, one of Japan’s most respected yakitori masters, and joins Leading Nation Hospitality’s award-winning collection of dining concepts including one MICHELIN-starred Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie PicWAGYUMAFIACardinal PointThe Diplomat, MICHELIN-recommended The Merchants and more.

As the international brand within the Torishiki ICHIMON, Torikaze preserves the tradition of Tokyo-style binchotan grilling while introducing subtle innovations for Hong Kong. Often credited with elevating the genre through discipline and focus, Ikegawa is known for a level of demand that makes seats at his counters among the hardest to secure in Japan. Each skewer is prepared over high heat, close to the fire pure binchotan charcoal, where smoke, heat, and timing are calibrated by intuition to create a rare, fully sensorial encounter.

Curated Culinary Offerings at Torikaze Hong Kong – Lunch & Dinner

Lunch (HK$350–480) presents comforting home-style dishes elevated by yakitori craft — from Oyakodon and Chicken Mince Don to Seven Yakitori with Rice and Chicken Soup with Somen – each guided by the seasons and crafted with peak ingredients.

Dinner (HK$780 +10%) unfolds as an Omakase Experience, showcasing classic yakitori techniques – tare-basting, shio seasoning, and binchotan grilling – across premium cuts of Three Yellow Chicken and select Japanese imports, alongside seasonal vegetables and specialty dishes.

An à la carte menu allows guests to customize their experience with signature skewers and limited add-ons such as Grilled Chicken Ramen and Specialty Rice Bowls, concluding with a final rice course and dessert – a reflection of Chef Ikegawa’s refined, soulful approach.
