• Nurturing culinary talents for the hospitality industry

This October, Rosewood Hong Kong partners once again with the Academy by Simon Rogan to nurture emerging culinary talent and advance sustainable hospitality through the Rosewood Empowers initiative. In collaboration with the International Culinary Institute (ICI), the programme offers global internships, masterclasses, and real-world training to inspire the next generation of chefs.

On October 16, Simon Rogan—holder of nine MICHELIN Stars and two MICHELIN Green Stars—will lead a masterclass for ICI students and Rosewood trainees. From October 17–18, apprentices and students will unite at Rosewood’s Botanical Kitchen to present a six-course graduation dinner. Building on last year’s success, which saw two apprentices relocate to Hong Kong, the partnership continues to foster creativity, skill development, and sustainability at the heart of hospitality.

Priced at HKD880 per guest, the six-course menu showcases dishes thoughtfully created by Academy by Simon Rogan apprentices in collaboration with VTC students and instructors. Guests can enhance their dining experience with beverage pairings, including a three-glass wine pairing at HKD380 per person. Tickets for this special event are available at the Rosewood Hong Kong Online Shop.
