• The story of Chinese cuisine is now global, special congratulations to Ho Lee Fook and Yong Fu Hong Kong

For the first time, Chinese cuisine has its own ranking in Asia. The Chinese Restaurant Awards introduces the Top 30 Honourees of the inaugural Elite 15 Asia Awards, a guide to the continent’s most exceptional Chinese restaurants. The final Elite 15 Asia list will be revealed at the 16th Annual Awards in Vancouver on October 29, 2025, marking a milestone for Chinese gastronomy on the global stage.

The list is curated by the Asia Taste Advisors Panel, chaired by acclaimed critic and TV host Agnes Chee, alongside 14 distinguished voices from across culture and cuisine. “There are many lists in the world, but this is the first to independently celebrate Chinese cuisine in Asia, one rooted in cultural confidence,” says Chee. “Our aim is to honour talent, inspire the next generation, and safeguard traditions while defining excellence on our own terms.”

Adds Lee Man, Vice President of the Awards: “On our 16th year, we’re proud to extend recognition beyond Canada to celebrate Asia’s finest. This list reflects the diversity of Chinese dining, spotlighting signature dishes, restaurants of all sizes, and the talent behind them.”
