    In a tribute to Hong Kong’s culinary heritage and local culinary culture, Rosewood Hong Kong has orchestrated a special pop-up experience between Holt’s Café and Hop Sze Restaurant, a renowned local restaurant from Sai Wan Ho celebrated for its signature stir-fry wok style. This partnership endeavours to showcase nostalgic local dishes that hold a special place in the hearts of locals, bringing the beloved Hong Kong style café experience to the refined setting of Rosewood Hong Kong. The collaboration underscores the hotel’s A Sense of Place ® philosophy, encapsulating the ethos of each Rosewood property by embracing a distinct reflection of the location’s history, culture, and sensibilities. This exclusive partnership between Holt’s Cafe and Hop Sze Restaurant seeks to celebrate and preserve the authentic flavours and culinary traditions that embody the rich tapestry of Hong Kong’s gastronomic legacy.

    Nestled in a historic building in Sai Wan Ho, Hop Sze Restaurant offers an intimate dining experience with a diverse menu that caters to special off-menu requests, showcasing the culinary expertise of co-owners Lam Suk Kiu and Chef Wong Wing Kuan. Lam’s extensive industry experience and entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with Wong’s mastery of Cantonese cuisine, have propelled Hop Sze Restaurant into the spotlight as a beloved local dining destination. Drawing inspiration from homestyle dishes, the restaurant pays homage to traditional Hong Kong flavours while infusing each creation with their own touch.

    Up to 10 special dishes in the A la Carte menu will be available for lunch from 20 to 21 March and dinner from 20 to 22 March. Prices start from HK$88 per dish.
