    New Hairy Crab A la Carte Specials and Set Menu at The Legacy House
    The Autumn season marks the much-anticipated return of the novel Hairy Crab menu at The Legacy House. Chef Li presents a delicately prepared menu featuring premium hairy crabs sourced from Lake Tai (Taihu) in Mainland China. Crowned the “King of Crabs,” the coveted hairy crab is renowned for its mild, sweet taste and succulent texture.

    The crustacean features in a range of premium 8 types Cantonese dishes ranging from the Steamed Hairy Crab (8 Tael, at market price) simply steamed in ginger and a delicate herb broth, to gastronomic delights such as Steamed Shanghainese Pork Dumplings (HKD90 per piece) with hairy crab cream, Braised Rice with Fish Maw and hairy crab cream in clay pot (HKD380 per person), Braised Tofu with shrimp, crab meat, Yunnan ham, mushroom and hairy crab cream (HKD420), Wok-fried Lobster with crispy rice cracker and hairy crab cream (HKD420), Stewed Fish Maw with hairy crab cream, minced shrimp, pork and mushroom (HKD780), and Braised Green Bean Noodle with hairy crab cream (HKD800). The perfect balance of flavour and texture, Braised Green Bean Noodles with Hairy Crab Paste (HKD2,880) requires a two-day advance order.

    Pair the meal with a specially chosen Chinese wine, Guyuelongshan, Long Wen 15-Year, for HKD158 per glass or HKD1,580 per bottle, or Guyuelongshan, Diao Yu Tai 20 year for HKD3,280 per bottle to share.
