Basehall 02 unveils diverse night-time entertainments programme including live Jazz, Stand-up comedy, DJ nights, and new dedicated bar offerings

LIVE JAZZ SERIES BY THE CARPIO BROTHERS

On Thursday 15^th June, Thursday 13^th July and Thursday 27^th July, drink and dine amidst a live jazz performance by the Hong Kong-born Carpio Brothers. Brothers Chris and Bernard Carpio are on piano and saxophone, respectively, and are joined by friends of Carpio Brothers. Carpio Music represents the full musical experience in Education, Performance, Production and Recording. In their hearts, music is an art form that needs to be nurtured and educated on a continuous basis, no matter of age or experience. Carpio Music’s rich history spans over 40 years, establishing itself as a leader in the Asian music industry, providing entertainment to some of the most exclusive clients including The King of Malaysia and The Hong Kong Handover Ceremony. From jazz classics to contemporary pieces, the renowned group brings flair and groove to every dazzling performance.

COMEDY CLUB THURSDAYS

Bringing nights of laughter to BaseHall 02, Comedy HK will kick off its stand-up comedy series on Thursdays in the month of June and July and onwards. The event will feature a red-hot line-up of some of Hong Kong’s funniest comics including Maitreyi Karanth, Ryan Hynek, Garron Chiu, and Bryan Bentley, along with some special guests. Priced at HK$200 for early birds and HK$250 at the door, tickets may be purchased online HERE.

SALON 10 ‘SPECTRUM’ MUSIC SERIES AT BASEHALL 02

On Friday 9^th June, Friday 23^rd June, Friday 14^th July and Saturday 29^th July from 9pm until late, private members’ Salon 10 will present its first off-site music events at BaseHall 02. Dedicated to showcasing the finest electronic music artists and DJ’s from Hong Kong and abroad, ‘Spectrum’ is a new music series that brings underground music culture to a wider audience. Priced at HK$200 for early birds and HK$250 at the door, tickets can be purchased online HERE. This will be an on-going partnership between BaseHall 02 and Salon 10 in which off-site music events will take place in BaseHall 02 every two weekend nights per month.

BEGINNER-FRIENDLY BLUES AND SWING DANCE EVENT

On Saturday 24^th June from 8pm until 11pm, put on your dancing shoes and experience Hong Kong’s first blues and swing dance event, organised in collaboration with Rhythm Studio and Hong Kong Blues for BaseHall 02. Newcomers to the event can rest assured, as a short blues dancing taster class will be held starting from 8:30pm. Tickets are priced at HK$80 for super early birds, HK$100 for early birds, and HK$150 from 21^st June onwards, and can be purchased HERE.

YOUNG MASTER & FRIENDS TAKES OVER BASEHALL 02 EVENT SPACE

Hong Kong-based craft beer group Young Master Ales Brewery is renowned for creating a world-class, yet locally rooted craft beer culture in Asia. In BaseHall 02, Young Master & Friends will extend into partnering with friends from the industry to bring new collaborations and will also unveil a whole new look by July 2023. Starting this June onwards, Young Master & Friends will showcase its innovative craft beer at BaseHall 02, with four installed taps for the freshest pours possible. The pop-up will also feature their crowd-favourite bottled highball cocktails, perfect for sipping with dinner or to enjoy during one of BaseHall 02’s late-night events.

Another new addition to the drinks selection in BaseHall 02 to welcome is La Cabane. Established in 2010, La Cabane was set with the intention of bringing natural & biodynamic wines, being at the forefront of the natural wine movement in Hong Kong. The journey started with their Cellar shop, nestled in between the cobbled streets of Hollywood Road. A few years later, the family got bigger and, just a couple of streets apart, our Bistro was born. La Cabane carefully and personally select their winemakers and partners, looking after the wines with care, and bring them to you in the most sustainable way possible. La Cabane has designed an exclusive wine list that will now be available in downtown Central, right in the heart of BaseHall 02.
