At Duddell’s to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit, Executive Chef Yip Kar On introduces a series of new limited-time menus available between 11th January – 5th February 2023.
The new Chinese New Year Dim Sum lunch selection consists of delicately crafted bites such as goldfish-shaped Shrimp Dumpling with Mullet Roe (HK$108), Truffle Bamboo Pith Dumplings (HK$78) and Pork and Shrimp Dumpling (HK$108) with semi-dried oyster and beef tongue. Available for both lunch and dinner are Crispy Lava Sesame Ball (HK$78) and Pan-fried New Year Cake (HK$68).
Serving all day long, 7 new Chinese New Year a la carte dish specials not to miss include auspicious Canton delicacies such as Double-Boiled Chicken Soup (HK$468) served with fish maw, ginseng and dendrobium, Sauteed Lobster (HK$1,088) with Chinese celery and water chestnut, Fried Glutinous Rice (HK$468) with preserved Chinese meat and sakura shrimp, and more.
For those who wish to enjoy the best of Duddell’s Chinese New Year culinary offerings, 2 options of tasting menus are available, with 6-courses priced at HK$1,088 per person and 8-courses priced at HK$1,988 per person. Highlights of the menus include Deep-fried Shrimp Paste Puff with pan-fried honey-glazed semi-dried oyster, Braised Whole 25-Heads Yoshihama Abalone with oyster sauce and shiitake mushroom, Braised Pork Knuckles with semi-dried oyster and dried black moss, and Sweetened Double-Boiled Imperial Bird’s Nest with red date and longan.
For those who wish to dine in the comfort of their homes or office, Duddell’s introduces its annual Chinese New Year Poon Choi offering, with choices for Deluxe Chinese New Year Poon Choi and Premium Chinese New Year Poon Choi. The traditional family-style Chinese casserole comprises of meticulously prepared and layered ingredients, such as Braised 10-Heads South African Abalone, Braised Semi-dried Oyster in Osmanthus honey, Braised Sea Cucumber and shiitake mushroom in oyster sauce, Braised Fish Tripe in chicken stock, and Braised Pork Belly with cuttlefish and radish, among many others.
