    Celebrating its seventh anniversary today, MICHELIN Guide Seoul 2023 has awarded Mosu Seoul the highest distinction of three MICHELIN stars, one of only two restaurants in Korea to be bestowed the honour this year. From one MICHELIN star in 2015, two

    MICHELIN stars in 2017, and then finally, three MICHELIN stars in 2022, Executive Chef Sung Anh has demonstrated the power of consistently pushing the boundaries of cuisine.

    “If you asked a younger version of myself if this would become my reality today, I would never have believed it. I am truly grateful for the acknowledgement of the work we have built over so many years, and for the hard hours put in by my incredible team. This year has been an exciting and equally challenging one with the opening of Mosu Hong Kong, and I can’t wait to see what the future will hold,” says Mosu Executive Chef and Owner, Sung Anh.

    Mosu Seoul currently has three MICHELIN stars in Seoul, #27 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2022, #5 on Opinionated About Dining Top Asia Restaurants 2021 and a score of 81% on La Liste 2022.

    Reconstructing Korean traditions – from burdock bark to dongchimi

    The menu at Mosu Hong Kong tells stories through dishes that draw often upon Chef Sung’s childhood memories. He is renowned for developing sophisticated flavours with rustic Korean ingredients, from simple burdock bark and savoury seaweed to handmade dongchimi (a variety of kimchi). The seasonally changing menu is as below:

    small bites including gim cup, turnip tart and abalone taco toasted sesame tofu
    tilefish in brassicas
    mackerel, cucumber, tomato
    ember roasted acorn noodle

    lamb saddle, mushroom, yellow corn or
    Hanwoo, fermented squash, goji berry small sweets

    The seasonal tasting menu is priced at HK$1,980 + 10% service charge per guest with an optional wine pairing at an additional HK$980 + 10% per guest.
