    [7th November, 2024 – Hong Kong] La Terrace by Louise, the latest affiliate concept to Julien Royer’s renowned one MICHELIN-starred Louise and led by Executive Chef Loïc Portalier, is set to host a special two-night dinner collaboration with Mason Bar & Grill from Bali on 20th and 21st November. Embracing the Balinese tradition of communal dining and more importantly the celebration of friendship between the two Chefs, the collaboratively crafted dishes are thoughtfully designed for sharing, creating an atmosphere of connection and warmth as guests come together with loved ones.

    Mason Bar & Grill in Canggu offers a timeless destination for wood-fired Mediterranean cuisine led by Group Chef Benjamin Cross. Rooted in artisanal traditions and with a focus on ancient culinary techniques like smoking and pickling, Mason presents a menu brimming with Mediterranean-inspired delights using the finest local and sustainable ingredients. Dishes are complemented by a curated beverage program featuring fine wines and inventive cocktails overseen by certified Court Master Sommelier, Marcus Boyle.

    Exclusive Collaboration Menu by La Terrace by Louise x Mason Bar & Grill

    The exclusive La Terrace by Louise x Mason collaboration menu has a total of 12 new dishes , with highlight snacks such as juicy Scallops enveloped in a rich chilli butter, served with crispy pommes frites; Raw Beef Toast with oyster cream and nutty sesame; and a creamy and comforting Jerusalem Artichoke Vichyssoise with white asparagus and chives (with the option to add caviar at +HK$388/10gr.). All snacks will be served together in small portions at HK$140 for 2 guests.

    Starters include the Mason Charcuterie Plate presenting a medley of salami, chorizo, mortadella, pastrami, and pickles (HK$148); Southern Fried Quail (HK$188) paired with tangy pickled palm heart and burnt lime; and Black Mussels elevated with aromatic Lisbon paste and aioli, served with crusty sourdough bread. Indulge further with mains like Turbot bathed in a decadent Champagne sauce with baby leeks and sweet corn (HK$408); Grain-Fed Short Rib on the bone that boasts tender and flavorful meat complemented by chimichurri and agridulce onions HK(HK$388); and Babi Guling Porchetta (HK$348)where succulent pork is paired with fragrant spiced turmeric pilaf and sambal matah, a Balinese raw sambal.

    Conclude the evening on a sweet note with desserts including Mason Bread Pudding (HK$88) enriched with calvados cream and vanilla ice cream; the iconic “Irish Coffee” (HK$88) comprising layers of rich chocolate ganache, whisky and coffee ice cream poured over with hot coffee; and Barbecued Pear (HK$88)crafted with the warming notes of chestnut, gingerbread, and ginger sorbet.

    Benjamin Cross, hailing from New South Wales, is the visionary Co-owner and Executive Chef of Brett Hospitality Group. Grounded in the ethos of refined simplicity, Ben’s inventive approach to cuisine shines through his dedication to crafting dishes that highlight the essence of fresh, seasonal ingredients.
