Fireworks & Drone Shows at Cardinal Point and The Merchants this May & June

From the terrace at Cardinal Point, guests can marvel at the captivating monthly pyrotechnic displays and drone shows set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour. The resident DJ’s set the scene with their dynamic beats, complemented by artful libations expertly crafted by award-winning bartender John Nugent, promising a truly magical evening.

At The Merchants, share unforgettable moments with family and friends while relishing uninterrupted views of Hong Kong’s dazzling fireworks and drone shows. Dine amidst the refined and contemporary flavours of Shanghai cuisine within the elegant interiors reminiscent of belle epoque Shanghai. Explore a menu featuring over 100 dishes and dim sum creations that highlight seasonal ingredients, influenced by the culinary traditions of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.

Delight in the flavours of South African Abalone adorned with parsley butter, and savour the sumptuous Wagyu Shabu Shabu served in an aromatic sansho dashi soup. Guests are offered a choice of premium beef selections such as the prestigious Kumamoto Akaushi, the flavorful Kumamoto Wao, or the decadent Josper Grilled Ozaki Beef, available with a supplementary charge of HK$350. Celebrate Mother’s Day in lavish style with The Merchants’ exclusive family-sized menu priced at HK$5,288+10% per four persons, offering an unforgettable dining experience based on traditional sharing-style dishes. Stand-out courses include the Tossed Hokkaido Surf Clam paired with crisp asparagus, the indulgent Traditional Deep-Fried Pomfret enveloped in sweet soy sauce, and the comforting Double-Boiled Fish Maw accompanied by white cabbage and bamboo pith. Delight in the sumptuous Braised Kanto Sea Cucumber garnished with scallion, the succulent Hand-Shredded Chicken served with scallion soy sauce, and the satisfying Stir-Fried Rice Cakes mixed with crab meat. The Merchants’ Dragon Boat Festival Rice Dumplings

At The Merchants, Executive Chef Chan Tin Long presents a luxurious offering for the Dragon Boat Festival featuring handcrafted rice dumplings brimming with premium ingredients such as succulent braised pork belly, Japanese shiitake mushrooms, Hokkaido dried scallops, salted egg yolks, and aromatic Jinhua ham, ensuring a feast for the senses. Ideal for gifting or personal enjoyment, these exquisite rice dumplings are now available for early-bird and bulk orders (5 sets or more) at a special rate of $268 (2 pieces per set) during the early-bird period from 25 April to 15 May 2024.
