    <<21st June 2022 – Hong Kong>> The heart of rustic Italian cooking lies at Ramato, the charming neighbourhood Italian restaurant and bar opened by JIA Group together with a menu designed by Chef Antimo Maria Merone of ESTRO. This June, Ramato is pleased to announce the launch of its new weekend brunch menu, serving now from 12pm-3pm (last order at 2pm) on weekends and public holidays from HK$448+10% per guest.

     

    ‘Ramato’ is named after Italy’s prized ramato tomato, a round and richly juicy tomato variety that is typically found growing on branches in the Puglia region. With a menu developed by the esteemed Chef Antimo of Estro fame together with new Head Chef, Matteo Caripoli, Ramato serves traditional southern Italian fare with family-style charm and rustic touches. From happy hour aperitivos to relaxed Italian dining, Ramato has become the hottest neighbourhood destination since its re-opening in early May2022 for authentic southern Italian fare paired with classic cocktails.

     

    New Brunch Menu: Southern Italian Familial Comforts at Ramato

    The new brunch menu at Ramato brings nostalgic re-creations of Chef Antimo’s favourite dishes from his Italian nonna’s dinner table when he was growing up. A warm homage to the place where Chef Antimo’s passion for food came alive, the new weekend brunch menu features three courses including Antipasti, Pasta & Secondi and Dolci starting at HK$448+10% per guest.

     

    Antipasti selections to share (a total of 5 types) on table include Mixed Italian Cold Cuts served with fried dough, Burrata Cheese with Camone Tomato & Basil, Beef Carpaccio served with rocket salad, and more.

     

    Guests may choose one from a selection of Pastas and Secondi plates (a total of 7 types), including homemade Mezze Maniche with carbonara sauce, guanciale, and pecorino cheese; the signature Ramato Tomato Sauce Spaghetti with basil; as well as Grilled M5 Australian Wagyu Rib-eye (300 grams per person) served with grilled asparagus for a supplemental +HK$298 per person; Grilled XXL King Prawn with fresh Mediterranean herbs (2pcs) for a supplemental +HK$168; and Roasted Spring Chicken with mashed potatoes and French beans for a supplemental +HK$128.

     

    For dessert, Ramato serves a duo of traditional Italian sweets to share, including Sicilian Cannolo with ricotta and pistachio and Vanilla Panna Cotta with mix berries.

     

    For guests that wish to enjoy free-flow drinks at Ramato’s weekend brunch, 3 optional drinks package are available each for 2 hours duration, starting from HK$320 that includes Prosecco, House White & Red, House Spirits, Peroni Beer and soft drinks.
