    <<16th March 2020 – Hong Kong>> Over the past two months, the Hong Kong restaurant industry has been dealt a devastating blow, with once-thriving outlets struggling to stay afloat in a city that no longer dines out. Recording the first sweeping loss in annual revenue since 2004, Hong Kong’s restaurants are now in need of our help.

    As a response to a declining industry that remains the heart and soul of our city, Hong Kong’s leading F&B experts The Forks & Spoons, Tatler Dining Hong Kong and On Air Collective, along with supporting media Tasting Kitchen (TK), Time Out Hong Kong, Foodie, The Loop, and WOM Guide have teamed up to launch #UnitedWeDine, a city-wide restaurant campaign that encourages all of Hong Kong’s food lovers to dine out and enjoy some of the best promotional offers.

    Starting from 16th March until 30th April 2020, over 100 restaurants across Hong Kong will participate in offering limited time #UnitedWeDine menus and/or dish specials at attractive prices. In total, there are over 80 restaurants that are valid for dine-in points for entry in the prize giveaway. The campaign invites Hong Kong to rally for a good cause – and to come hungry.

    Restaurants that have joined the movement include recent casual hotspots such as sommelier-led experiential wine bar ThinkWine, popular Spanish restaurant with a view La Rambla by Catalunya, and Bayfare Social, the Mediterranean gastro-market concept nestled within Rosewood Hong Kong. For #UnitedWeDine, Bayfare Social offers up a hearty 3-course menu featuring signatures such as jet-fresh salmon tartare, rotisserie chicken with fries and padron peppers, and a decadent choice of desserts from Butterfly Patisserie for only HK$348+10% per person.

    From the Michelin-awarded fine dining category, one-Michelin-starred L’Envol at St Regis Hong Kong, one-Michelin-starred TATE Dining Room, one-Michelin-starred Roganic, two-Michelin-starred Amber and two-Michelin-starred Ecriture among others have jumped on the bandwagon. At Ecriture, indulge in a specially designed #UnitedWeDine 4-course chef’s tasting menu by Maxime Gilbert, priced at HK$1,118+10% per guest inclusive of a complimentary glass of champagne. Highlights include the kombu-wrapped Brittany Akamutsu steamed with sake and verbena, and roasted Blanc de Blanc lamb with maitake, sorrel and uni miso cream.

    Old-time foodie favourites such as Wyndham Street’s hallmark Indian restaurant Bombay Dreams, award-winning izakaya Yardbird, hamburger specialist Beef & Liberty and Argentinian steakhouse Tango Soho have also joined in on the fun. Tango will offer a 3-course #UnitedWeDine menu at both of its outlets in Soho and Elements, featuring choices of appetisers such as heirloom tomato salad and smoked new onion chowder, paired with Fish Escabeche Silveriano or Te Mana lamb shoulder main course, and churros or almond flan to conclude. The menu is priced at HK$328+10% per person.

    Dine out and Win Fantastic Prizes!

    While the main purpose of #UnitedWeDine is to encourage diners to rediscover Hong Kong’s incredible dining scene, and to support as many restaurants as possible, diners also have the chance to win fabulous prizes from doing so. Between 16th March – 30th April, guests who visit five (5) or more restaurants out of over 80 options, and tells us their reasons for supporting Hong Kong’s dining scene, will have the chance to win one of many luxury prizes.
