    <<3rd January, 2022 – Hong Kong>> Led by French sommelier Romain Loriot, ThinkWine continuously introduce a brand-new experience of wine and food pairings with a new line up announcement for its ever-popular Restaurant Takeover series + Winter Cheese Fondue nights.

    JANUARY-MARCH RESTAURANT TAKEOVERS AT THINKWINE

    This year, ThinkWine re-launched a successful series of pop-ups by some of Hong Kong’s ever popular restaurants such as Frantzen’s Kitchen, 22 Ships, Chachawan and more, where chefs showcased takeover-exclusive dishes to pair with ThinkWine’s exceptional selection of wines for one night at a time. ThinkWine is pleased to announce the latest schedule of restaurant/chef takeovers coming up from January until March 2022 with further announcements to come for April – June 2022.

    Each restaurant will pop up at ThinkWine from 6pm until late, serving 5-6 special dishes (ranging from HK$60 – HK$150 per dish) or a combo set to pair with ThinkWine’s specially curated selection of wines. The Q1 of 2022’s takeover schedule is as below:

    • 12th January (Wed) – DAM:A Noodle Bar by Chef Yong Soo Do
    • 27th January (Thurs) – AWA AWA by Chef Joe Chan
    • 9th February (Wed) – 11 Westside by Chef Esdras Ochoa
    • 23rd February (Wed) – Sushi Kuu by Chef Satoru Mukogawa
    • 16th March (Wed) – CENSU by Chef Shun Sato
    • 30th March (Wed) – Bedu by Chef Corey Riches

    11 Westside is headed by Mexican native on Netflix’s cooking show The Final Table – Chef Esdras Ochoa, 11 Westside is an unique space for your Mexican food cravings and your weekly get-togethers. Flying in some of the city’s freshest Mexican ingredients, 11 Westside stays true to its roots, serving made-at-your-table guacamole, handmade corn tortillas and tacos, real Salsa Molcajete and succulent meats – all in a modern and spacious interior. The restaurant takeover series offer guests a fun new way to kick back and relax in a lively ambience, with the chance to socialise with fellow food and wine lovers.

    BEDU is a cosy Middle Eastern restaurant and bar located in Central, that showcases the region’s diverse street food culture. From a semi-open kitchen, plates of unapologetically bold spices and smoky flavours from the grill make their way to the countertop seats, or main dining area. The adjoining bar produces refreshing tipples inspired by pillars of Middle Eastern culture to compliment the menu.

    NEW WINTER CHEESE FONDUE NIGHTS AT THINKWINE

    From now until the end of winter season on every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at ThinkWine, get whisked away to a cosy chalet in the Swiss mountains for an authentic taste of cheese fondue. For only HK$300, enjoy a bubbling pot of all-you-can-eat cheese fondue served with potato, truffle ham, Bayonne ham, coppa and saucisson. For HK$388, guest can also add on an appetiser of oysters or premium smoked salmon.
