    <<11th December 2020 – Hong Kong>> A dedicated speakeasy by John Nugent, The Diplomat (recently named “Best New Bar” + “Best Interior Design” by Tatler Dining Readers’ Choice Awards 2020) brings  to Hong Kong an enhanced experience of reimagined cocktails and brasserie-style snacks. Following the  

    most recently implemented COVID-19 dine-in restrictions, The Diplomat brings some much-needed  festive cheer in the form of 12 Days of Cocktails, the city’s first cocktail advent calendar that offers  guests the opportunity to enjoy special Christmas-themed cocktails at home. 

    The Diplomat’s hours of operation have been updated to Mondays – Saturdays from 12pm – 6pm.  Currently, services on offer include dine-in lunch, dine-in 3 Martini Lunch promotion, takeaway a la carte dishes, and takeaway bottled cocktails. 

    12 Days of Cocktails by The Diplomat – Limited Edition Cocktails from 14-25 December Starting from Monday 14th December 2020, every day until Christmas, The Diplomat will unveil a new  mystery off-menu cocktail with a festive twist for takeaway. Each secret cocktail will only be available on  the same day it is introduced, and a highly limited supply of only 30 takeaway bottles will be offered per  cocktail. 

    Each 400ml limited edition bottled cocktail is priced at HK$400, and the entire set of all 12 days’  worth of mystery cocktails can also be purchased at a discounted price of HK$4,200. Those who complete  the set will be gifted a bottle of Pol Roger as well as an additional bottle of their favorite Advent Calendar  cocktail – bringing guests on a nostalgic trip back to their childhood.

    The Diplomat Introduces the “3 Martini Lunch” 

    “The three-martini lunch is the epitome of American efficiency. Where else can you get an earful, a  bellyful and a snootful at the same time?” – Gerald Ford, in a 1978 speech to the National Restaurant  Association. 

    The Diplomat continues to serve the “3 Martini Lunch” program to complement delectable brasserie style pub grub. From 12pm-5pm every Monday – Saturday, guests can enjoy three of The Diplomat’s  famous mini martinis for only HK$100. Sip a cold martini (or a few) during these tough days and remember  that good times are soon ahead!
