The best-selling The Diplomat Burger (HK$180) is a crowd favourite, available in limited quantities daily. The simple yet stunning burger comprises of a juicy quarter pounder patty, melting cheddar and sesame buns. Don’t miss out on Nugent’s Nuggets (HK$100), John’s favourite after-hours guilty pleasure made with free-range organic chicken and spicy dipping sauce. The ultimate comfort dish, Truffled Mac & Cheese (HK$90) features a potent combination of shaved black truffles, gruyere, and Swiss cheeses. Cocktails at The Diplomat

Stocking a range of small batch produced wines and vintage liquors, The Diplomat’s cocktail menu draws from the experience of influential state leaders, ambassadors, and historical figures. From 15th July 2020 onwards, The Diplomat Café will offer guests the option to take away cocktails in individual wax-sealed bottles.

Pandan gin, white port, baking spice, clarified orange juice, and coconut juice make up Tarling (HK$500, serves 4), which cleverly mimics the rich, nutty profile of chocolate by combining Asian specialties pandan and coconut. Boulevardier (HK$600, serves 4), a cocktail with origins in Harry’s New York Bar in Paris and which loosely translates to “man-about-town”, features a classic combination of Wild Turkey rye, bourbon, Punt e Mes vermouth, and Campari bitter. Our Negroni (HK$550, serves 4), bitter and balanced, is a surefire customer favourite. John’s latest cocktail creation, the Blinker Highball (HK$600, serves 4) is a fruity and balanced mix of bonded raspberry rye, Austrian bitter, unripe grapes, celery and grapefruit soda.
