    <<4th January, 2021 Hong Kong>> Hong Kong’s favourite health-conscious bakery, The Cakery introduces limited organic, refined sugar-free, and vegan Chinese New Year baked treats to its ever-growing collection of offerings. With all diets and lifestyles in mind, the new range of takeaway-friendly baked goods provide a delicious and guilt-free way to indulge over the coming holidays.

    The Cakery introduces a new range of Chinese New Year themed cookies, chocolate, traditional puddings, and vegan afternoon tea set. The perfect way to bid farewell to 2020, The Cakery’s delicious and health-conscious treats are sure to bring festive cheer to any Chinese New Year gathering. Between 2 – 17 January 2021, those purchasing the Cookie & Chocolate Gift Box or Chinese Pudding Trio in bulk will receive a special early bird discount of 10% off for 25-50 boxes or 15% off for 50+ boxes.

    The Chinese New Year Cookie & Chocolate Gift Box (HK$598) is 100% vegan, and includes 12 pieces of Short Date, created with red date from Xinjiang, and 18 pieces of Milk Oolong Cookies made with Milk Oolong from Taiwan – the original and all-natural Jinxuan tea that draws on a longer oxidation period to enhance its inherent milky flavors. The set also includes 12 pieces of Ginger Cookies, featuring candied ginger and ginger puree, and 20 pieces of Sugar-Free Mendiant, or traditional French sugar-free dark chocolates with coconut flakes and goji berry.

    No Chinese New Year celebration is complete without a belly full of the glorious traditional pudding. The Cakery presents a Chinese Pudding Trio (HK$398) of refined sugar-free and vegan renditions of the delicacy, including Red Sugar Rice Cake made with red sugar, Red Date Cake with red dates and goji berries, and the final savory Turnip Cake, made with sumptuous white radish, dried mushroom, preserved pickles, black fungus, and garnished with gold leaf and black truffle.     The vegan Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea experience begins with savory bites of Vegan Abalone Tart, Vegetable Dumpling and Turnip Cake. Move on to the anticipated sweet baked goods including Red Sugar Sweet Rice Cake, Mini Cupcake, Mango Chia Pudding, Mandarin Citrus Tart, Goji Berry Red Date Scone, and Yuan Bao Chocolate.

    The takeaway tea set features three additional cookies, including Ginger Cookies, Oolong Shortbread, and Red Date Shortbread. Both dine-in and takeaway sets are designed to be shared by two people.


    The Cakery’s Vegan Valentine’s Day Special

    This Valentine’s Day on 14th February 2021, The Cakery will launch a spectacular chocolate vegan cake to enjoy with your lover to celebrate this romantic occasion. The exclusive Love Blossoms (HK$688) vegan chocolate cake is beautifully decorated in the shape of a flamingo with strawberry frosting, fresh Persian buttercup, fresh roses, and a glittering gold leaf.
