Located sky-high on the 101st floor of International Commerce Center of West Kowloon, RadicalChic boasts sweeping city and harbor views to enjoy alongside a creative Italian degustation menu by Executive Chef Andrea Tarini. Native Italian Chef Tarini uses the might of his homeland’s finest meats, seafood and seasonal produce to craft a cuisine and upscale dining experience quite unlike any other – bringing a refined and radical new take on Italian fare in Hong Kong.
RADICALCHIC’s New Italian Fine Dining Movement in Hong Kong
Inspired by the modern culinary art movement, RADICALCHIC portrays exceptional Italian ingredients with splashes of colors and contemporary fine dining twists. Chef Tarini is both a noted chef and celebrated teacher of Italian fine dining, who derived much of his learnings from one of the world’s greatest and most revered Italian chefs, Mauro Uliassi. Guests dining at RADICALCHIC can expect the unexpected upon every visit, as Uliassi’s doctrine of boundless innovation remains deeply engrained in Chef Tarini’s style of cooking.
In addition to the signature a la carte menu, guests will have the chance to experience an exclusive 10-course chef’s degustation menu that expresses Chef Tarini’s culinary journey and changes according to seasonality. RADICALCHIC has chosen Hong Kong – a city teeming with gastronomes and discerning palates – to debut its revolutionary take on Italian food.
RADICALCHICs Gallery Inspired Interior Design
At RADICALCHIC, guests are given the illusion of dining in a museum art gallery. With hanging art adorning the white walls of the main dining hall, the interior aesthetic is striking and formidable yet simultaneously minimalistic. Bold and stand-out design features include the radical light fixtures at the bar and the eccentric wallpaper used solely in the private dining room.
About Executive Chef Andrea Tarini
With both an ambitious goal and lifelong passion for sharing fine Italian cuisine and its authentic products to the world, Chef Andrea Tarini has been appointed as the Executive Chef at the soon to open RADICALCHIC in Hong Kong.
Prior to arriving in Hong Kong, Chef Tarini led kitchens at acclaimed Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, from Italy to Dubai and Singapore, having worked alongside culinary icons such as 3-Michelin-starred Chef Mauro Uliassi for a total of 13 years as Sous Chef at “Uliassi” and Heinz Beck at Taste of Italy by Heinz Beck in Dubai. As a cooking teacher, Chef Tarini is regularly invited to participate in world-class gastronomy fairs and conferences in Italy and throughout Europe. Now in Hong Kong, Chef Tarini hopes to share with Hong Kongers his unique views on the art of cooking innovative Italian cuisine inspired by Italian tradition and the best of Mediterranean ingredients.
