<<14th August, 2017 – Hong Kong>> Mark your calendars, because the French-trained Korean-American Londoner, TV celebrity chef, award-winning cookbook author, UK Iron Chef champion and Jinjuu’s founder Judy Joo will be making an anticipated return to Hong Kong! From 31 August – 14 September, Chef Judy Joo will grace the city with her presence for the exciting re-launch of Jinjuu Hong Kong. To match the restaurant’s striking new interiors, Chef Judy Joo and Team have crafted new seasonal lunch, dinner and weekend brunch menus that pack a delicious punch. From the a la carte selections, guests can look forward to fabulous creations such as the Baked Kimchi Halibut (HK$240),Korean Cauliflower (HK$180), Naengmyeon (HK$140), Korean Baby Back Ribs (HK$160) and more that bring a lip-smacking taste of Modern Korean cuisine.
Chef Judy Joo Collaborates with Mina Park of Sook
Whilst in Hong Kong, Chef Judy will be collaborating with Mina Park, the ever-talented founder of Sook, to host two marvelous nights celebrating Modern Korean cuisine at Jinjuu Hong Kong. A project inspired by Mina’s mother, Sook strives to breathe new life into traditional Korean cuisine through collaborations, workshops and writing. Based in Hong Kong, Sook is a project that gathers like-minded individuals and individuals who hope to learn more about the Korean culture through food. Over the years, Sook has hosted incredibly successful popups in Hong Kong, London, Lisbon, Japan, the Philippines and Myanmar. Someone who knows her way around the kitchen, Mina’s cooking has been featured on CNN and in Surface, Hong Kong Tatler, Apple Daily, Sassy Hong Kong, Crave Magazine, Foodie Magazine and more.
Save the date for 6 and 7 September as Chef Judy and Mina will bring you a 6-course Modern Korean menu priced at HK$888 + 10% per guest (6-course cocktail and wine pairing available at an additional HK$300 per guest). 10% of the dinner proceeds will be donated towards Mother’s Choice.
