THE LITTLE PECKER CHICKEN SANDWICH LAUNCHES 21 FEB
As the saying goes, it’s not about the size – but about the technique. With a brilliant name like The Little Pecker you’ll soon find that Beef & Liberty’s new fiery and aromatic chicken sandwich makes up for its shortcomings with flavors so good it’ll make you want a second fling. With a name allegedly inspired by the new POTUS, this chicken leg is first marinated in homemade piri piri sauce, then slow-cooked and hot-grilled, before being nestled between two fluffy buns and topped with zesty lemon aioli, celeriac tahinisalad and mustard. Packing a tangy punch with just the right amount of heat, this is an affair you won’t likely forget. Priced at only HK$98, expect The Little Pecker to drop at all Beef & Liberty restaurants from Tuesday, 21st February onwards!
Also making a same-day debut on the appetiser menu is the Duck Rillettes (HK$48), a mouthwatering dish of confit duck leg, herbs and redcurrant jelly served with grilled sour dough bread.
NEW “TIPPLES & NIBBLES” HAPPY HOUR ON TUE-SUN, 6PM-8PM
With award-winning mixologist Pawel Mikusek heading the bar, Beef & Liberty California Tower’s “Tipples & Nibbles” are anything but your average bar fare. From 6pm – 8pm every Tuesday – Sunday, chase away the work night blues with B&L’s brand new “Tipples & Nibbles Happy Hour” from only HK$33 per drink with complimentary bar snacks. About Beef & Liberty
We love hamburgers more than anything else in the world…we know, we’re weird that way. Our love of ‘all things burger related’ inspired us to spend years researching what makes the perfect hamburger – meat-to- bun ratios, patty recipes, grind coarseness, Maillard reactions, and cheese meltability to name but a few. Beef & Liberty is the product of that obsession – those technical details are exactly what we are all about. It’s this passion that’s made us want to share our burger addiction with the good people of Hong Kong.
Our name originates in 18th century Britain where the leading members of London society gathered in beefsteak clubs to partake of great food, fine booze and entertaining company. The brilliantly named Sublime Society of Beefsteaks was the most famous of all the clubs and its motto was “Let beef and liberty be my reward”. We loved the line so much we took it as our name. Enjoy!
