Continuing from its first full-house launch event at Rhoda on 18 July, De La Valley will be joining hands with modern American restaurant Lily & Bloom for its 2nd event on 23 August.

    On 23 August, De La Valley’s famous Argentine and Uruguayan beef will feature on the menu of contemporary American restaurant and the city’s ultimate steak experts, Lily & Bloom. Executive Chef Chris Grare takes pride in his signature 45-days dry-aged steaks originating from renowned quality meats purveyor, Meats by Linz in Chicago. On the night, a special battle will commence between North American and South American beef, giving guests a chance to vote on their favourite steak at the end of the event. In between juicy bites, guests will also be able to sip on three varieties of new independent brewing company, Olive Ridley Brewing Co.’s small-batch artisan beers.

    Entry to the event is priced at HK$495 net per guest, with tickets available for purchase on Ticketflap and a choice between two seating times from 6:30pm-8:30pm and9pm-late. The family-style menu for the “Battle of the Beef” is a simple one, featuring a shared experience of steaks, sides, sauces and a choice of craft beer. De La Valley and Lily & Bloom will each showcase two steaks of varying cuts and origins, accompanied by sumptuous homemade sauces and all-American sides.

    The official beer sponsor for the battle on 23 August, Olive Ridley Brewing Co. is the latest independent local brewing company taking Hong Kong by storm.
