Inspired by Catalonian traditions, La Rambla launches a new brunch experience that highlights premium Spanish products and authentic Spanish recipes with a modern twist. Every Sunday, brunch is followed by an epic after party, complete with a live DJ on the open-air terrace.
Priced at a valued HK$550+10% per guest, Sunday En La Boqueria Brunch captures the vibrant flavours of Barcelona’s famous food market, La Boqueria, through a vast array of tapas, meats and seafood offerings. Starting at LA BARRA (“The Bar”), guests can indulge on a brilliant buffet spread of the finest cuts of jamón ibérico, cured meats, Spanish cheeses and various types of anchovies, along with Catalan versions of ensaladas, coques and tostadas. Make your way over to HUEVOS HUEVOS!! (“Eggs Station”), where fresh Japanese eggs are cooked a la minute. Choices include Make Your Own Tortillas with ingredients such as bacon, zucchini, cheese, paletilla and croutons, Broken Eggs with Chorizo, slow-cooked egg with potato foam (The Bazaar), or simply, Eggs Your Way.
TAPAS, featuring some of La Rambla’s most beloved classics, will be served straight to the table. Dishes include Bikini, a mouth-watering jamón-and-cheese grilled toastie layered with black truffle, Jamón Croquetas, croquettes of creamy béchamel and savoury Iberico ham, and Patatas Bravas, traditional fried potatoes with spicy aioli sauce. Meat lovers should not miss the JOSPER GRILLED – everything cooked over charcoal. Opt for the juicy Grilled Tiger Prawns, or ask for the weekly-changing Sunday Specials.
PAELLAS are made to order, including the Classic Paella created with pork belly, calamari and clams, Squid Ink Paella with clams, calamari and Catalan-style arroz negro, and Vegetarian Paella with grilled green asparagus, seasonal vegetables and Catalan-style arroz a banda. Guests are advised to choose one dish to share between two from the SHARED MAIN COURSES. Mains include La Rambla’s signature Traditional Suckling Pig “Segovian Style” served with seasonal mushrooms, Josper Charcoal Grilled Turbot with a scrumptious donostiarra sauce, and Wagyu Beef Cheek cooked “Fricando Style” braised in red wine and served with crispy shoestring potatoes.
Conclude the meal with ALGO DULCE (“Something Sweet”), and dig into a delectable selection of pastries, traditional Spanish desserts, and even whole cakes. Ice cream lovers will be delighted by the Helado Nitro Ice Cream Sundae, a sundae of French vanilla ice cream with toppings prepared tableside.
No Spanish feast is complete without a few tipples, and La Rambla has prepared alcoholic beverage package options to upgrade your brunch experience. For an additional +HK$350 per person, the Good Open Bar includes a free-flow of Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé, Agusti Torello Mata Brut Reserva Cava, Chased Oak Smoked Bloody Mary, selection of red and white wines, beer, and more. Easter Weekend Brunch at La Rambla
Throughout the weekend of 21-22 April (Sat & Sun), La Rambla will serve a special Easter brunch with holiday-inspired dishes by Chef Ferran. The dishes themselves will be available on the a la carte as part of the specials for a longer period between 19-22 April, and include Catalan classics such as Cod Fish Esqueixada (HK$160), a salad of shredded salt cod, tomatoes, onion, olive oil, vinegar and olives. Another popular codfish dish, Cod Fish en Salsa Verde(HK$240), is prepared by slow cooking the codfish in a garlic and parsley sauce, served with clams, white asparagus and slow-cooked egg. Sweet Peas de la Boqueria (HK$180) is a stunning seasonal creation made with sautéed sweet peas, baby squid, spinach, potato foam and garlic oil. Guests will take comfort in the Favas a la Cataluna (HK$180), a traditional stew of lima beans and cod tripe. Those with a sweet tooth will love the Easter Torrijas (HK$80), toasted brioche with vanilla ice cream, and Bunyols de Vent (HK$80), traditional fried dough with whipped cream and sugar.
On 21-22 April only, Sunday en La Boqueria brunch will be priced at HK$680+10% per guest, and will feature an additional selection of weekend-exclusive Easter treats. Dig into fresh and delicious Spanish produce such as Grilled Oyster San Micheal and succulent 3 XL Carabineros, and an added main course of Josper Grilled Black Cod, grilled over charcoal with al pil pil sauce. For dessert, guests have the added option of La Mona de Pascua, a traditional Spanish cake typically enjoyed over Easter.
