    Introducing Las Perlas Afternoon Tea

Kaviari caviar enhances and complements delicate and seasonal Spanish creations by Executive Chef Ferran Tadeo. Savoury bites to start include Smoked Salmon Bao with pickles, Homemade Brioche Bread with French butter, Patatas with cream cheese and chives, La Rambla Churros with sour cream and dill, and Traditional Blinis with cream cheese and chives. The sweet dishes include Churros with salted caramel, Brac de Gitano (Swiss roll) made with chocolate and whipped cream, Strawberry Tart with Catalan cream, and homemade Dark Chocolate with walnut and raisins.

For the included drink, choose among a selection of freshly brewed loose-leaf teas, including English Breakfast, Chamomile, Bi Luo Chun Green Tea, Arabian Mint, and Jasmine Tie Guan Yin, or opt for the special Elephant Grounds ‘OG’ Blendcoffee.

Both the ikura and Kaviari caviar menus offer the option to upgrade the experience with supplemental pours or a bottle of Dom Perignon 2010 (HK$400/glass, HK$2,010/bottle, only applicable during Afternoon Tea), Dom Perignon Rose Vintage 2006(HK$3,200/bottle only applicable during Afternoon Tea), and Krug Grande Cuvee (HK$2,600/bottle). About Plantin Kaviari

Founded more than 40 years ago by Jacques Nebot, Kaviari has ever since deepened its expertise on caviar by perfecting secret Iranian traditions. This unique knowledge is now shared between Jacques Nebot and his children, Karin and Laurent, Raphaël Bouchez, the CEO of Kaviari and the caviar master of Kaviari, Bruno Higos. As one might say, passion runs in the family. They are now dedicating their time to sharing caviar’s best hidden secrets, along with their passion for family traditions and culinary excellence with chefs and fine food lovers all over the world. Kaviari has been fortunate to earn the trust of the most celebrated chefs in the world – Alain Ducasse, Yannick Alleno, Alain Passard – and now serves more than 15 (out of 26) three Michelin-starred chefs in France.

Because caviar and other seafood delicacies are a gift from the sea, Kaviari has become a part of the pro-sustainability movement. Over the years, overfishing threatened the sturgeon, and it is now a protected species. Since 2008 and the ban of Sturgeons fishing, Kaviari became one of the first caviar houses to turn to farm-raised caviar to prevent wild fishing and a global sturgeon extinction. Kaviari is working hard to become a true sustainable brand, mindful and respectful of the nature it owes everything to.
