    At Duddell’s to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Tiger, new Executive Chef Yip Kar On introduces a series of new limited-time menus available between 24th January – 15th February 2022.

     

    Serving for lunch only, 5 new Chinese New Year Dim Sum Selection consists of delicately crafted bites such as goldfish-shaped Shrimp Dumpling with Mullet Roe (HK$108), Crispy Lava Sesame Ball (HK$78) and more.

     

    Serving all day long, 7 new Chinese New Year a la carte dish specials not to miss include auspicious Canton delicacies such as Double-Boiled Chicken Soup (HK$428) served with fish maw, ginseng and dendrobium, Sauteed Lobster (HK$988) with Chinese celery and water chestnut, Fried Glutinous Rice (HK$308) with preserved Chinese meat and sakura shrimp and more.

     

    For those who wish to enjoy the best of Duddell’s Chinese New Year culinary offerings, 2 options of tasting menus are available, with 6-courses priced at HK$1,088 per person and 8-courses priced at HK$1,888 per person.     Celebrate the Year of the Tiger with Bibi & Baba in authentic Singapore style

    Defined by colours, spices, and the marriage of flavours, Bibi & Baba presents new dishes that are inspired by a blend of Singaporean and Malaysian culinary classics. Led by Malaysian Head Chef Ho Wai-Kong, Bibi & Baba celebrates Chinese New Year by introducing a limited-time Lo Hei (HK$388) and Chinese New Year Set Menu (HK$418 per person for minimum 6 guests) between 15th January until 15th February 2022.

     

    Lo Hei, otherwise known as the ‘prosperity toss’, is an age-old culinary practice of gathering loved ones around a massive plate, and violently tossing its contents to bring good fortune in the New Year. It is even believed that the higher the toss, the better the fortune a nd prospects in the year ahead. Lo Hei was brought to Singapore in the late 19th century, and today, is a boisterous highlight of Chinese New Year festivities.

    Bibi & Baba rings in the Chinese New Year of the Tiger with its own version of Lo Hei, with a plate brimming with ingredients such as raw salmon, pickled leek slices, dry winter melon slices, cucumber slices, crispy crackers, papaya slices, carrot, green radish, white radish, lime, pomelo, sesame seed, pepper powder, peanut and cinnamon powder.

     

    Bibi & Baba’s Chinese New Year Set Menu for minimum 6 persons to share, is now available for dine-in with 24 hours advance pre-order or also available for delivery via JIA Everywhere. The set menu begins with the traditional Lo Hei prosperity toss, followed by highlights such as Bakwan Kepiting, a rich prawn and pork broth filled with auspicious ingredients of abalone, crab meat, bamboo shoot, and minced pork balls, Crispy Deep Fried Pork Knuckle served with homemade spicy sauce, Dry Laksa with stir-fried thick bee hoon, prawns, fish cakes taupok, taugeh, and hard-boiled egg, and a Lucky Dessert Assortment of pineapple tarts, Kueh Dadar, Onde Onde, Seri Muka, and Nian Gao.

     

    Exclusive Chinese New Year a la carte dishes are also available to enjoy for both dining in and delivery.
