<<30th July 2020 – Hong Kong>> Opened in collaboration with Chef Marco Sacco who holds a total of 2 Michelin Stars in Italy, CASTELLANA HONG KONG sources its produce directly from Italy’s resource-rich Piedmont region to reproduce traditional cuisine with a modern twist. Together with the expertise of celebrated Chef Marco Sacco, Castellana goes further to combine authentic Piedmont cuisine with some of the best ingredients around the world to surprise and delight guests with an exquisite new gastronomic experience.

In response to the recently introduced COVID-19 restrictions on restaurants, Castellana now offers takeaway and delivery menu options for guests to enjoy authentic Piedmont cuisine in the comforts and safety of home. Casa Castellana menu options now include a la carte, 3-courses set, 4-courses set, and a family/office menu with dishes designed for larger groups of 5 or above.

Introducing Casa Castellana – New Takeaway and Delivery Menus

Now available for restaurant pick-up (includes a 10% discount off) or home delivery, Casa Castellana gives a range of options for quality Italian dining at home. The a la carte takeaway & delivery menu presents signature dishes such as Vitello Tonnato (HK$138) created with veal and tuna, capers, and anchovy sauce, and Carbonara ‘Au Koque’ (HK$188) made with homemade tagliolini, the beloved ‘Au Koque’ (egg yolk infused in gin) carbonara sauce, and crispy cured ham from Vigezzo Valley in the Lepontine Alps.

Mains that you can easily prepare at home include Coda di Rospo (HK$158), a fresh Italian monkfish, which can be heated in the oven for 3 minutes at low temperature before serving. The accompanying sauce should be microwaved for 45 seconds at medium temperature. Tagliatelle ai Ricci di Mare (HK$198) is Castellana’s crowd-favourite sea urchin pasta, which is prepared at home by heating the tagliatelle in a pan with a spoon of salty water and sauce for 2 minutes. After serving the pasta in a plate, add the sea urchin on top to finish. For meat that slides off the bone, opt for La Porca Costina (HK$188) glazed Iberico pork ribs. Heat the ribs at 180 degrees Celsius for 3 minutes, then pour the cold BBQ sauce and peanuts on top.

Enjoy a fresh and fruity dessert of Pesca Ripiena (HK$118) featuring Italian white peach, chocolate and almond. To prepare, reheat both the peach and its sauce for 2 minutes at medium temperature, serve the peach on a dish, then pour the sauce on top of the chocolate. For the full a la carte takeaway and delivery menu, and detailed instructions for preparing each dish at home, please visit: https://www.castellanahongkong.com/seasonal-menu.

In addition to a la carte options, Castellana has curated valued set menus with 3-courses for HK$280 and 4-courses for HK$380. Innovative Piedmont Cuisine at Castellana Hong Kong

Arguably the most progressive culinary scene in Italy, Piedmont lies at the borders of France and Switzerland. Its climate provides superb conditions for both wine and truffles, making it a popular tourist destination during the harvesting period. Piedmont cuisine is truly unique from other regional Italian cuisine, as it focuses on creating a richer, full-bodied flavor, with classic Italian vegetables and meats cooked for longer and butter often replacing olive oil; all in a bid to let the ingredients develop slowly to give a deliciously rich character.

Piedmont’s highly rated cuisine focuses on creating a fulfilling dining experience for all the senses. Located in the heart of Causeway Bay, Castellana’s distinctive food is matched by quality wine, creamy cheeses, world-famous white truffles, and indulgent desserts – all in a bid to deliver the perfect, comprehensive meal.

Last order cut-off time is 11am for dinner on the same day, or 9pm the day before for lunch. Delivery times are between 11:30am-10pm or 6pm-9pm, and delivery fees to designated areas are as below:
