[MACAU – 27th May, 2019] – June is a month of gastronomic proportions, as Grand Lisboa Hotel pays tribute to Joël Robuchon by his disciples with a very special Gala Dinner celebrating his lifelong dedication to the culinary arts at Robuchon au Dôme. At the same time, Chef Alfonso Iaccarino also returns to Macau – which he proudly calls home – for his 50th visit. Throughout his weeklong stay at Casa Don Alfonso, he will present special dishes featuring fresh, organic dishes from his very own farm in Naples, Italy.
Gala Dinner Presents Robuchon’s Devotion to the Culinary Arts
Joël Robuchon’s family of chefs – Eric Bouchenoire, Tomonori Danzaki and François Benot – together with Julien Tongourian, Robuchon au Dôme’s very own Executive Chef reunite once again to present the annual 2019 Gala Dinner on 8th June. This year, they will celebrate Robuchon’s passion for the culinary arts by presenting the exquisite French gastronomic cuisine. This special dinner is priced at MOP 4,200* per person.
Chef Alfonso Iaccarino Returns ‘Home’ to Present Farm-to-Table Dishes
Chef Alfonso Iaccarino returns to his home of Grand Lisboa for one week to recreate the colorful, artistic flavors of Italy on a plate. Using the fresh ingredients from his own farm in Naples, he is reuniting with the chefs at Casa Don Alfonso for one week to present dishes featuring fresh, organic ingredients. Guests are welcome to experience his beautifully prepared dishes from 12th to 18th June.

The centerpiece of the restaurant is a breathtaking crystal light chandelier cascading from the middle of the ceiling, made up of over 131,500 pieces of Swarovski. Behind glass display windows, wine cabinets are amassed with sculptures, representing famous wine Château, designed and crafted by renowned English Furniture Maker, Viscount Linley. The enchanting atmosphere in the restaurant is brightened by Baccarat floor lamps.
Setting the new standard for fine-dining, Robuchon au Dôme uses the best hardware and tableware, the finest glasses from Riedel and high relief platinum serving plates from Bernardaud.
