• GAGGENAU ANNOUNCES UPCOMING LINE-UP OF COOKING MASTERCLASSES & DEMONSTRATIONS WITH A SEASONAL TWIST FROM DECEMBER-FEBRUARY

    Special Master Classes and Cooking Demonstrations by Chefs, Utilizing Gaggenau’s State-of-the-Art Kitchen Appliances

    <<8th November, 2018 – Hong Kong>> The German leading luxury brand for professional-grade home appliances, Gaggenau, has dominated the industry since 1683 with innovative products that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, functionality and durability. To celebrate Kitchen Infinity Holdings Limited (the sole distributor for Gaggenau in Hong Kong and Macau)’s 30th anniversary in Hong Kong, the brand introduced Gaggenau Culinary Artisans Program, a new series of premium master classes and demonstrations that equip the city’s top chefs with state-of-the-art kitchen appliances. Through the program, Gaggenau helps home chefs take their culinary skills to the next level.

    Gaggenau Culinary Masterclass

    The Gaggenau Culinary Masterclass includes special hands-on cooking classes for 14 students per session at KI Island South Galleria in Wong Chuk Hang. Previously, the showroom saw successful classes by Agustin Balbi, Executive Chef of innovative Japanese restaurant, HAKU and Daniel Calvert of Belon, one of 9 Hong Kong restaurants to make it on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018 list. Over the next batch of masterclasses from December-February, guests will enjoy an added festive element to their culinary experiences.

    From trendy modern Chinese restaurant Ho Lee Fook, Chef Jowett Yu will be leading his masterclass on 29 November. Chef Nathan Green, previously of Rhoda fame and now spearheading modern European cuisine with an Asian touch at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, will host a special Christmas Class on 13 December. Contemporary Chinese restaurant Mott 32’s own Chef Lee Man Sing will provide an eloquent culinary experience themed on the coming Chinese New Year during his class on 31 January.

    Gaggenau Culinary Theatre

    A showroom where heritage meets innovation, KI Cubus provides an unforgettable kitchen experience that spurs creativity and ignites passion. This holiday season, the Gaggenau Culinary Theatre demonstrations will kick off with Chef Alex Fargas of FoFo by El Willy and his Christmas-themed show of contemporary Spanish cuisine on 6 December. Up next will be Chef Lau Chun of iconic Hong Kong restaurant Kin’s Kitchen, who will provide an entertaining demonstration themed on Chinese New Year on 17 January. Finally, Chef Anthony Burd of Jamie’s Italian Hong Kong swings into the season of love with a Valentine’s Day-themed demonstration of romantic Italian cuisine on 21 February.

    All demonstrations will be from 2-4pm (unless stated). The Gaggenau Culinary Theatre is complimentary for all guests, but guests must register beforehand atkih.com.hk.
