<<14th December, 2020 – Hong Kong>> PENICILLIN and DEAD &, the hottest new cocktail bars in Hong Kong by bar legends Agung Prabowo and Roman Ghale, announce new opening hours and the launch of takeaway and delivery services at their respective venues.
In light of the latest dine-in regulations implemented by the HKSAR government, between 9th-23rd December, PENICILLIN and DEAD & have temporarily adjusted their new opening hours to 12pm-6pm on Mondays-Sundays (daily) serving food & drinks to guests. Past 6pm, guests will only be able to enjoy takeaway & delivery services to enjoy cocktails at home.
NEW BOTTLED COCKTAILS AT PENICILLIN
At PENICILLIN, delivery service has launched for large-batch 500ml bottled cocktails (HK$500 per bottle), which requires a minimum spend of HK$500 for pick-up, HK$1,000 for delivery within Central, HK$1,500 for delivery outside of Central but within Hong Kong island, and HK$2,000 for delivery to Kowloon.
Innovative 500ml bottled cocktails on offer include signature mixes such as the Alexander Fleming (ecoSPIRITS whisky, galangal-honey syrup, pom-beet shrub and mezcal), Something Clear (goat milk whisky, clarified citrus, ginger honey wine and smoky flame), Goose Negroni (wild gooseberry bitter, roselle vermouth and coconut NIP gin) and Modernist Science (bread vodka, fermented koji-pineapple and cheddar cheese liqueur).
Inspired by the farm-to-bar movement taking the culinary world by storm, PENICILLIN is Hong Kong’s first sustainable bar that champions a closed-loop model of production. With a focus on either locally sourced or up-cycled food and drink ingredients, PENICILLIN’s bar menu finds innovation in the true flavours of Hong Kong while constantly looking for ways to minimize carbon footprint.
NEW FOOD & DRINKS OFFERING AT DEAD &
Cheap, cheerful, and with guaranteed crazy nights ahead, DEAD & is the hottest new local haunt for tasty yet affordable cocktails and friendly neighbourhood vibes. From happy hour and post-work bevvies to all-day imbibing adventures – whatever your booze-fuelled mission, DEAD & comes alive for it.
DEAD &’s 250ml cocktails (HK$150 per bottle) are now available to sip and enjoy at home alongside mouth-watering signature food items with a required minimum spend of HK$300 for pick-up/takeaway, HK$300 for delivery within Central, HK$600 for delivery outside of Central but within Hong Kong island, and HK$1,000 for Kowloon. 250ml bottled cocktails on offer include classics such as Manhattan, Old-Fashioned, Negroni, Boulevardier, Sazerac, and Dry Martini.
Complement the drinks with DEAD &’s signature eats such as Dead Dog (HK$68) grilled hot dog on a buttered bun, smothered in a thick layer of savoury ground beef chili sauce, sprinkled with cheddar cheese and onion, Beyond Burger (HK$98), “KFC” (HK$98), &Wings (HK$68), and &Fries (HK$58).
All food items are available in combo meal deals including drinks, starting at HK$98 for &Wings & Drinks, and can be taken to-go or ordered for delivery within Hong Kong Island (min. HK$300-HK$600) or Kowloon (min. HK$1,000).

Dead & (pronounced “dead end”) is the latest bar co-venture by Agung Prabowo and Roman Ghale located at the (dead) end of Wo On Lane in Lan Kwai Fong. Based loosely on a traditional dive bar, Dead & offers affordable yet tasty drinks, and a friendly neighbourhood vibe. The “&” in the name has a second meaning of continuity – referring literally to the extension of the bar beyond its cosy 500 sq. ft. space into the outdoor amphitheatre next door.
