<<13th January 2020 – Hong Kong>> On 12-13 February, Roganic Hong Kong will welcome visiting chef Ray Adriansyah of Bali’s Locavore, currently #42 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list 2019 to showcase a special collaboration menu for 2 nights only. The winner of Indonesia’s Best Restaurant Award and the Sustainable Restaurant Award by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019, Locavore is the undisputed pioneer of Indonesia’s progressive food movement. Led by classically-trained chefs and co-founders Ray Adriansyah and Eelke Plasjmeijer, Locavore combines their passion for cooking with sustainably sourced local ingredients.
“At Locavore, we are passionate about joining forces with like-minded chefs,” says Chef Ray Adriansyah of Locavore Bali. “We admire Simon Rogan’s strong stance on sustainability, which is seen across his global empire of restaurants. Our collaboration menu with Roganic will truly speak to the beauty and unrivalled freshness of sustainably sourced ingredients.”
Roganic, which recently received its first Michelin star under the helm of Executive Chef Oliver Marlow and Head Chef Ashley Salmon, champions an ingredients-driven tasting menu with a modern European twist. Chef Proprietor and Owner Simon Rogan’s famous sustainable sourcing and pushing to achieve zero waste ethos is implemented here in Hong Kong, using homegrown and locally foraged ingredients where possible.
“Roganic and Locavore share a similar commitment to sustainability, and to supporting the local communities we are each a part of. I am really looking forward to sharing our finalised menu, a harmony of Indonesia, Hong Kong and Europe,” says Simon Rogan of Roganic Hong Kong.

About Roganic Hong Kong:
Roganic first opened in 2011 in Marylebone as a two-year pop-up, a sister restaurant to L’Enclume. Five years later, Roganic returned to London, bringing elements of L’Enclume, Simon Rogan’s two Michelin star restaurant in the Lake District. The team is comprised of the original Roganic line up, amongst other past and present employees of UMBEL Restaurant Group. Roganic runs alongside Aulis London, a development kitchen and eight-seat chef’s table which opened in Soho on 14th October 2017.
