About Our Client:
Our client is established in 2014 and currently owns 6 restaurants of various cuisines and styles in Hong Kong Island.
Responsibilities:
- Check freshness of food and ingredients
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
- Develop recipes and determine how to present the food
- Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
- Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor sanitation practices and ensure that kitchen safety standards are followed
- Profile
Requirements:
- At least 8 – 10 years of chef experience required in restaurant industry
- Expert knowledge of food & beverage and kitchen operations
- Native in English & Chinese communication skill are a must. Additional language ability preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
- Self-motivated, aggressive and has a strong sense of responsibility
- Passionate, independent and willing to take challenge
