About Our Client:

Our client is established in 2014 and currently owns 6 restaurants of various cuisines and styles in Hong Kong Island.

Responsibilities:

  • Check freshness of food and ingredients
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
  • Develop recipes and determine how to present the food
  • Plan menus and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
  • Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
  • Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor sanitation practices and ensure that kitchen safety standards are followed

Requirements:

  • At least 8 – 10 years of chef experience required in restaurant industry
  • Expert knowledge of food & beverage and kitchen operations
  • Native in English & Chinese communication skill are a must. Additional language ability preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods
  • Self-motivated, aggressive and has a strong sense of responsibility
  • Passionate, independent and willing to take challenge
