• This spring, Chef Zavou draws inspiration from the season’s finest and elusive ingredients to design a 10-course menu perfectly paired with the varying characteristics of Krug cuvees

    Executive Chef Robin Zavou from Mandarin Oriental introduces a special Krug champagne pairing experience that goes beyond visual aesthetics and palatable delights. The Krug Room will transport the tasting journey to a new dimension with carefully selected classical music to enhance the experience of each distinctive Champagne.

    For this special spring menu experience, The Krug Room will transform its interiors and decorations to match the seasonal ingredients from the land and sea that reflect a mesmerizing scene in spring. Guest will kickstart their meal with Krug Grande Cuvée 166ÈME  Édition paired with savory snacks, and followed by other creative dishes like Scallop served raw as sashimi, accompanied by raw and pickled turnip, ponzu sauce, hijiki salad, seaweed meringues and an oyster emulsion, poached white asparagus prepared with konbu butter sauce, crispy buckwheat, bread croutons, fine slices of speck, garam, roasted marron, raw and pickled white mushroom, fresh morels and edible flowers.
