• Silencio, a restaurant by award-winning hospitality group Le Comptoir, is Hong Kong’s only contemporary Japanese izakaya featuring a live entertainment twist

    Located on the 6th floor of Lan Kwai Fong Tower, Silencio offers a sophisticated take on Japanese izakaya favorites that respect tradition but are not bound by it. Silencio recreates the vibrant ambience of Japan’s much-loved drinking dens, uplifted with sleek interiors, an impressive line-up of live jazz and a menu of reimagined Japanese izakaya favourites.

    The kitchen will be helmed by Sean Mell, previously the Executive Chef of NOBU Hong Kong. Using premium seasonal ingredients and modern techniques, Chef Mell will introduce a refined rendition of traditional Japanese izakaya dishes to the heart of Hong Kong.

    Silencio’s interiors showcase the artworks of Tokyo-born cult figure Tomoo Gokita. Gokita’s paintings depict a neo-expressionist style of modern art that dominated the 70’s, managing to simultaneously allure, inspire and disturb.
