• In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, Grand Lisboa Macau, Old Bailey, and The St. Regis Hong Kong presents a series of mooncakes to share with your friends and family

    To celebrate this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, Grand Lisboa Macau, Old Bailey, and The St. Regis Hong Kong introduces three different collections for guests to share with friends and family. 

    Grand Lisboa Hotel’s Michelin three-star Chinese restaurant, The 8 is pleased to present a healthy homemade mooncake variety this year – The 8 Mooncake with Assorted Nuts.  Also on offer is the Double Egg Yolk and Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes, made from the traditional recipe of white lotus seed paste and rich double egg yolk, while the Lava Custard Mini Mooncake is made with an irresistibly creamy lava custard filling. 

    From the recently opened St. Regis Hong Kong is their classic White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Egg Yolks, created with premium lotus seed paste and golden salty duck egg yolks. The Mini Egg Custards are an excellent alternative to the traditional mooncake, with a smooth custard filling surrounded by golden pastry. A true festive delight, the richly aromatic Mini Red Bean Paste with Tangerine Peel mooncake features the harmonious combination of sweet red beans and tangy citrus. The limited edition mooncakes will be available for pre-orders from now until August 15, 2019.

    Old Bailey’s Executive Chef Wong Kwan Man has prepared a series of authentic handmade Shanghai-style mooncakes, available in limited quantities. For those who prefer a SAVOURY treat, Chef Wong has created a Shanghainese mooncake filled with ground pork, shallots, ginger, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and white pepper powder, making for a truly decadent bite to share with loved ones. Those with a SWEET tooth may opt for a traditional Shanghai-style mooncake filled with a smooth, creamy and sweet homemade red bean paste.
