• Chef Agustin Balbi invites world-class Japanese chef Takeshi “Goh-san” Fukuyama to join him in a special culinary collaboration at HAKU

    For this special event, Goh-san brings to discerning guests a taste of his award-winning 1-Michelin star French-Japanese restaurant and no.24 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019, La Maison de la Nature Goh.  Occurring exclusively on September 28th only, guests will experience an 9-course degustation journey by the two chefs priced at HK$2,180+10% per person, with the option to add a specially curated wine pairing at +HK$680.

    Born and raised in Japan’s south-westernmost island and resort city of Fukuoka, Goh-san first began his career as a trainee chef at Île-de-France. He worked his way up to Head Chef at Mercury Wine Bar & Restaurant, before moving back to his native hometown in Fukuoka and founding La Maison de la Nature Goh in 2002. 

    Maison Goh was the first restaurant in Fukuoka to debut on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants back in 2016, and has since risen up the list to the 24th position in 2019. Goh-san has announced plans for the closure of La Maison de la Nature Goh in 2020, giving away to an anticipated new restaurant in Fukuoka co-owned by himself and the four-time winner of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, chef Gaggan Anand.
